My first experiment with the blooming Jacaranda trees didn’t turn out too well. They sky blew out the flowers, leaving only their silhouettes. With any luck, I’ll get another go at it before the blooms fade away.

My work wasn’t accepted into Hey, Hot Shot, but I’m not terribly surprised. Even though I’m not shooting very much right now, I am still vigorously working on submitting my work to shows across the country. In my book, even rejections are progress right now; at least I’m putting my work out into the world to be seen. (I’m sure that this will wear thin in the future, however.)
